Have you been to a forum before?
Yes - I've been to a couple and I found them very helpful. The first one went a little bit over my head, but that was because it was before I had started using the system. The second one I went to was very informative and it was good to put my ideas across and talk about how the system has been working.

What was your application procedure before you used AllHires?
I don't actually know, because I've only been with Goodman Derrick since 2007 and we already had AllHires. All of our applications since we've had a website have come through the site, so it would have been hard-copy screening.

Why AllHires?
We chose AllHires because it is a bespoke application for law firms. It is specifically geared towards the way we operate.

What has been the best thing about adopting AllHires?
It's been very quick. It's easy to use and it's fairly intuitive.

Have you attended a user group?
I have attended user groups and I found them very good. I've always found the training and assistance to be excellent - it's like having a personal service.

How has AllHires changed the way you work?
It's made life a lot easier, because it's easier to store the applications and to organise my work. Graduate recruitment has to fit in as part of a busy schedule, so it's great to be able to check things online and not have to sift through hard copies. It really does speed up the way you work and it makes things a lot more efficient. And it's also better for getting back to the applicants because you can email them straight back.

How quickly did you pick up using the system?
Fairly quickly, because I had to use it before I had any proper training. I wasn't using the system as fully as I could have been, but it was easy to get into and to click through all of the icons to see what I needed to do.

What happens when you have a problem?
I pick up the phone or I email - depending on how urgent it is - and I always get an immediate response.

Do you get decent support?
Yes, the support is extremely good. I'm very, very happy with it.

What effect has it had on your workload?
I think the effect that AllHires has is that it enables you to organise graduate recruitment as part of a busy schedule. Although we only have three trainees each year, there are still a lot of applications to go through. It means that I can work quickly and efficiently within the system.
